Amenities at the Villa

Cooking lessons: After guests experience Claude-France’s gastronomical creations, they can take cooking lessons to learn her culinary secrets.

Spa: An esthetician and hair-dresser may be available to offer their services at the villa upon request.

Learning French : Canto Grihet is not just a bed and breakfast. Claude-France invites her guests to immerse themselves in the culture of southern France. In addition to the cooking lessons, French lessons are offered by Sandrine, Claude-France’s daughter. All levels are welcome. Classes can be designed as follows:

• private one-on-one
• small groups
• seminars
• intensive program: lengage classes in the morning, followed by visits and activities in French in the afternoons.

With some basic French, you may also:

• tackler French literature, classic or tempory, and French culture
• improve your French by acting in a play.

A Doctor of Litterature from the Sorbonne University and a graduate of the “Ecole Normale Supérieure”, Sandrine has been teaching French since 1997. She has taught at Dartmouth College (USA), at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain)and in several universities, colleges and high schools in France. Since 2005 Sandrine has also worked with various acting groups writing, directing and producing plays. Her teaching is lively and professional. She does everything possible to make sure each student progresses quickly!

Classes are available for all guests of Canto Grihet and people in the region.
